* Workshop “Communication Skills”
The workshop consists of two parts: A 45-minute public Input-Talk (on Tuesday, 18 February 2024) and an individual 15-minute coaching (during the whole congress) in which participants will have the opportunity to give a brief talk in front of a video-camera and receive feedback on their performance from communication professionals.
**Workshop “HEAD-US”
The workshop consists of two parts: A 60-minute public Input-Talk (on Tuesday, 18 February 2024) and a 3-hour hands-on workshop in small groups (during the whole congress). The workshop’s duration will be 3 hours. Over the course of a morning and afternoon block, you will be taught the ultrasound procedure established in Europe in theory and practice. The scanning and scoring method developed by Prof. Carlo Martinoli in 2013 allows efficient monitoring of any synovitis or haemarthropathy of the elbow, knee, and ankle joints. In the corresponding workshop you will learn about the meaning and purpose of HEAD-US, acquire the necessary technical and anatomical background, and study the cutting planes, pathologies and their evaluation. A special focus is placed on practical exercises in small groups under supervision.
